Vivienne Rutgers is a teacher from Eerste River and a trailblaizer for Humane Education, having spoken at the United Nations Forum on Sustainable Development in New York in September 2006 and at the world Conference on Humane Education in London in 2006, hosted by the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA).
